OK, Here are the Rules for 2008:
1. You must, at all time, follow the instructions of the hotel staff.
2. Only competitors are allowed on the pontoon during the race
3. Fowl play, barging and water fights are expressly allowed
4. As are costumes
5. Each heat is timed. The fastest 5 racers from all of the heats will go into the final. Finalists will be announced here.
6. Boats are first come, first served. And the boats are not all the same
7. If you don't turn up on time, we'll probably swap you with a team that is there on time. You'll then race in their slot
8. The Judges decision is final. Live with it.
9. This is British boat racing, so we won't be having a 2 hour intermission, followed by breaks for TV ads and a total team of 53 of which only 2 are ever racing at any one point in time.... ;-)
10. If you cheat, we'll find out and be very annoyed. Unless it's funny - in which case we'll probably let you off!
